Re: I need your stickers!
I still need to do the side skirts, but here's how it stands in running condition.
![]() ![]() Surprisingly, the 'where did this part go' situation did not occur. Every remaining piece I have is accounted for, all the way down to every last screw and nut.

Re: I need your stickers!
Ran into the first re-assembly issue today - heat shield screws worked loose and fell out.
I suspect the all three fell out (since the front two have), which probably means pulling the exhaust to get to the backside screw. Fortunately this isn't a particularly complicated issue - one body panel, three mounting bolts and two header nuts. For as much was done, the first 75 miles have been uneventful, and I expected a shakedown period.

Re: I need your stickers!
Not quite as extreme. Panel on each side the same shape, but using different stickers of course. I had a panel on top that wrapped around the headlight, but it just didn't look right so I pealed it off. Windshield and topbox removed. That made a world of difference alone. My 15y/old likes it (or at least thinks it is less uncool), so good enough.

Re: I need your stickers!
Well, time to pull the exhaust (again).
Went to get the scooter out this afternoon and the rear tire was flat. Rolled it around and found a 1.5" gash in the sidewall. Not sure if the loose heat shield did this, or just age and inflating to scooter's recommended rating (29 psi). I'll get a picture once the wheel is off. The tires still look new (still have the rubber stubble and no dry rot), but they are at least 8 years old. Here's the rupture. Hard to tell, but it looks like it follows details in the tire mold, so maybe just age, being flat for a while and then being put back into use. ![]()

Re: I need your stickers!
Perhaps the flat tire was fortuitous.
Rear wheel removal instructions: 1) Remove both rear side panels. Okay, I've done this several times already. 2) Remove exhaust. Getting to be a pro at that. 3) Remove right rear shock. Don't bother removing it, just pull the bottom bolt. 4) Remove rear fender. Not necessary; the one bolt you pull to remove the exhaust is enough. 5) Remove rear axle nut. Okay. Problem. Big problem. The rear axle nut is missing. As is the outboard collar. Since I never pulled the exhaust until this work, they may have been missing for years. The inner collar is still there, held in place against the wheel by the swing arm. The bearings, while still physically present, need to be replaced. Hopefully I can find the parts in stock somewhere. This project is becoming a project. Hey, who can press out and then press back in a small double bearing set for me? Also - can anybody recommend a shop to install scooter tires? 3.50-10 if that matters.

Re: I need your stickers!
Well, the sticker-bomb Deluxe may be dead.
The not surprisingly the outer collar, bearings and seals are no longer available. I can get the axle nut, but I don't want to ride this scooter knowing that the drive system isn't properly configured. Anybody need a good running Elite motor/transmission/frame?

Re: I need your stickers!
AllBallsRacing has rear wheel bearings for it to (I think) if you haven't already bought them elsewhere.

Re: I need your stickers!
New tires on (replaced front and rear after the rear blew out), and everything re-assembled. Seems to run okay; just took it for a cruise around the subdivision to check the brake adjustment.
I got some more stickers and some vinyl to put on to cover over the stickers that didn't stay adhered. More pictures once I get it finished up.

Re: I need your stickers!
Hey, I have a '85 CH150 with the '84 CH125 drivetrain. And some spares. It was running then it would die and not start up for awhile. Seemed like vapor lock but I don't know. Maybe the alternator-exciter ring. It's been sitting in my garage since 2010. The body panels are a different design, but all the same color - the medium blue. Maybe you can start on a matching bike now. If you are interested, make me an offer. Clear OH title.
