Re: From Italy

Sweet. If possible, I would recommend the Moto Guzzi factory tour in Mandello del Lario. The Ducati factory tour in Bologna is pretty awesome too, and you are very close by...

Thanks Ducati Factory was closed on Wednesday which ofcourse was a traveling through for us we stopped at the factory store though/ I thought about Guzzi factory after the fact but planning for a trip back impossible to do it all.. farther we got away from big cities/tourism areas the better time we had and the people are so friendly not like in the cities and high tourist areas!

We did a little Vintage vespa ride out of Florence which was lots of laughs very slow pace but considering we were in the city they paraded us in between 3 fiat vintage cars and many people on the streets smiled and waved then we left the city to the country side which immediately turned into absolutely no traffic

So anyway we commuted from our castle in Certaldo once my train once we drove a rental which was quite the eye opener that was a group effort with someone calling off the navigation and my wife totally beside herself with the lane splitting definitely something to see and go through!!

Re: From Italy

David, that looks like the trip of a lifetime. F'ing awesome!!! Can I assume that now that Mrs Bannister is 2-wheel proficient, she'll be accompanying us on next year's Fall BRP trip?

Well she exceeded expectations for sure !! I hoping sheíll do a little scootering her balance is superb we had her on a scooter twice in the Neighboor before the trip and she didnít have any issues except her own fears built up over the years! She still wonít be motorcycling I doubt but she overcame sone fears!! I still have more pics and stories coming we are heading back to Venice by fast train 1st class today then fly out tomorrow back

All the excitement has come to and end sitting in philly waiting for a connection back to cinch and Iíll throw some more pics at you all!

Wife and sister chilling at the local wine bar in a normal neighborhood in Venice meet a guy named Francisco that was born and raised local but spent 25 years in the states as a chef and started off in Cali but loved Texas and especially our love to smoke pork he called himself the venation red neck!! He totally picked us out walking down the street and wanted to talk with the Americans he was truly fun made our last night so fun!

Came home with a clean ass thanks to this invention we donít have common here in the states compared to Europe which was literally everywhere!

All the cigarettes packs have this graphic in it ( camel joes was this pack) but the whole country smokes like freight trains

Didnít ever actually see a gentlemanís establishment but I was told there was plenty around and this was in the taxis

These love Rossi as most of us already know

This 1972 Vespa I was taking pics of the owner caught me waited for me to finish snapping pics and entertained a few questions the smaller the towns/cities we stayed in we had more fun, learned more and the local residents wanted to share their culture with us!!
