Cool SOLD: 79 Suzuki GS750, Running Project

Another one that I bought a short while back with intent to part out, but again... I accidentally got it running. I snagged a couple key components that I needed for myself, but as I'm still recovering from the fracture in my back, I think it is best to pass it along as a mostly-complete project. Maybe a cafe or a bobber, but I think these look good without chopping them up.

1979 Suzuki GS750N, 8-valve DOHC.
Runs, but... NO TITLE

79 frame and engine, but clues tell me that the Mikuni VM26 carbs are probably from a 78. The fuel tank, rear cowl, and tail light I believe are from an 80 or 81 GS850G or GS1000. Seat is from an 82 GS650E. The 79 GS750 standard "N" is actually kinda rare, as Suzuki focused more on the Americanized model in 79 and produced far more 750L cruisers than the 750N standard. That's not to say that it's worth a fortune by any means, but it's the last [and best] of the eight-valve 750 engines, and last year to retain the kick starter.

The good:
- It runs when jump-started.
- New carb boots.
- New spark plugs.
- Good/Newer points.
- All electronics/electrics appear to work.
- Brakes work, front and rear.
- I have the keys, and all locking mechanisms work.

The bad:
- Runs rough. Needs carb work. Leaks fuel from carb overflows.
- It needs a battery.
- No title.

The ugly:
- Fuel tank has palm-size dent/scuff.
- Seat has splits at seams.

47k-miles. I bought it out of a collection, not running. It had fresh gas in the tank when I got it. I don't believe it has been sitting long. I spent some time with it, got it running, and parked it. No, you can't ride it home unfortunately. It's not that kind of a project. But if you sort out the carbs and willing to do the legwork to get a title, I'm sure it could be roadworthy without much more effort.

$350
I'll ask more if I have to put it on Craigslist or eBay.

Located in Ross Township, a couple miles outside of Millville Ohio. As long as it's not too slick, you can back your truck or trailer up to my basement workshop doors and load it up. I'll even help, if I can.

Re: FS/FT: 79 Suzuki GS750, Running Project

Thought that I had this sold this evening, but buyer is now 3-hours late. Assuming I've been stood up.

I always seem to have trouble getting the videos to work here....
