Cool Redneck Tire Changing 101

Single-sided swingarm. No centerstand. No swingarm stand. No bike lift. But I do have a swingset.

Thom Boles is the genius that came up with this idea.

Although a bit sketchy at first, it actually worked really well.

I used to do the same thing but used the cross beams of my garage to hang the straps from. Always worked well.

You call yourself a redneck? No self-respecting redneck would be caught dead on a bike that didn't have bald tires with some cord showing. And take the exhaust can off--you SOUND REALLY FAST when yer REALLY LOUD!!!

Next time you need to remove your tires I have a pitbull rear stand for a s3 and a t-Rex for the front I can lend you. Not that far away either.

It would have been a stupid idea if it failed. It's a good thing that swing set isn't dry-rotted.

Re: Redneck Tire Changing 101

That ain't redneck....that's suburban. No self respectin' redneck would ever use a swingset for that....they's made for pullin' motors!

Heck now....efen you'd used a tree branch, thaten been diffrent story!

That was the before photos.

Appreciate the offer. I was consider putting a request out to see if anyone had one I could borrow, and I even considering buying one for myself, but I honestly do not foresee having this bike around for a long time.

If it had failed, I would not have posted photos (ok, I probably still would have).. That swing set has been used for all kinds of stuff though, most noteworthy being the target stand for our private firing range. Hehe...
