Welcome Southern Cruisers

Well it is finally happening, a place to post without the need to shotgun emails everywhere. :holdback: This section of localriders has been around for some time but most of us were unaware of it. :what: I have been in and out of the localriders site for about a year and was not aware of this part of it

So make sure you thank Vera for being the driving force in bringing this back to life. :#1

John, we will put this forum to good use.

Just let everyone get used to it. Find their way around.

Welcome aboard, John! And thanks Vera for getting this up and running! I am certain once people see its usefulness
as a riding resource that they will visit often ...

You should post something on how to become a member of the SCRC and what kind of rides you typically go on.

Just a thought :-)

I can say the same thing about you, Rick. Suddenly showing up last night on a brand new bike. Nice bus you have. :D

How DO you join the SCRC? As a cruiser, it's something I'd be interested in!

Yes, we are called the Southern Cruiser Riding Club. And a lot of people think you can only join when you ride a cruiser. Me, included. The first time Greg took me along, I was a bit wary because I ride a small sportsbike and dress in full gear.

We take anyone. Cruiser, sportsbike, touring bike, even Harleys ;) As long as you ride in a safe manner, it doesn't matter what you ride. As John said in the other thread: we leave together and we arrive together. It's about having fun and the people who ride. We are always trying to do something. I mean, going somewhere. Just recently we had a great day at the Woodford Reserve Distillery in KY. Or we head over to Ripley for an icecream.

Please, feel free to check us out.
The ride out of Wards Corner on Sat 12th June is canceled because most of us are going down to Lexington for the SCRC state rally.

Thanks for the info! I joined the Licking County chapter, since it's a good deal closer to where I live.
